One Micron Latex Balls Through Microscope
A solution of latex balls in distilled water seen through a microscope. The balls have a diameter of 0.99+/-0.03μm and appear to glow because the light coming from the sides are defracted. The dust-like aruas you see are Airy-disks. The latex balls move in Brownian motions. The reason they appear and disappear is because I am focusing the microscope.
