Qila - Water Spit
A short clip of Qila demonstrating what a beluga does in the wild to catch prey on land by spitting water at a little kid at the Beluga Show. This was filmed about 3 weeks before Tiqa (the new baby calf) was born, so yes, she is pregnant in this video.
Qila is the very first beluga to be captive-born at a Canadian aquarium. She gave bith to her very first calf, Tiqa, in June 2008. So now, she is also the very first captive-born beluga to give birth.
