Presentation of Symptoms
Nourish will closely follow the School Nurse Algorithm put in place via the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, which can be viewed here. (We will not require “Mask to Stay” as we are working with young children and will instead require a “Zero Symptoms to Stay” requirement for any children exposed.)
Any student or staff member presenting with 2 or more low risk symptoms or 1 high risk symptom of COVID-19 (listed above) must either be cleared by a medical professional with a stated alternative illness or receive a negative COVID-19 proctored or PCR test in order to return to Nourish.
If a child presents with 1 high risk symptom or 2 or more low risk COVID-19 symptoms during the day, Nourish will:
Isolate the child.
Call a parent immediately. Pick up must be within 30 minutes.
Child cannot return to Nourish for 10 days without a medical professional’s note or a negative proctored COVID-19 test.
If there is a positive case, Nourish will contact the Toledo-Lucas County Department of Health and follow their guidelines for communication, cleaning and disinfecting.
