Sharon Bryant scored two Top Ten R&B hits from her solo debut in 1989: "Let Go" and "Foolish Heart". While "Foolish Heart" was very well received and a big R&B hit in 1990, "Let Go" managed to crack the U.S. Top 40 on the Pop Charts and initially gave the former Atlantic Starr lead vocalist mainstream exposure.
