Davinci Resolve 17 - How to Import Gimp Files and Use Each Layer
Davinci Resolve 17 has the ability to import Gimp Files and use each layer of the files. Each layer of the gimp file can be animated separately, turn off or on or effects can be applied individually in Resolve using Gimp PSD files. In the tutorial, I show how to create a gimp file, export the Gimp file to Davinci Resolve, using the PSD format. Then I import the Photoshop PSD file into Davinci Resolve. I show how to access each layer of the PSD Gimp file. Then I show the basics of animating the layers of the PSD files in Davinci Resolve within the Fusion Page. Gimp and Davinci Resolve are both great free programs that work well together and offer creators a great way to create animation, motion graphics and video content for free.
