This is the self-tape I sent in for Default Mode — ended up playing Layla in the final short.
I actually shot while I was back home in Queens, NY, sent it in, and booked it. And what's crazier was I was a referral to this role from someone I didn't even know.
Layla was one of those roles that just made sense to me. The stillness, the shift, the way she holds things in — I knew what to do with that.
