We made this skit for Youtubes Nextup program as an introduction to the metro236 channel. its a parody one of our favorite films Being John Malcovich. Thought it'd be funny to put two teenage skate kids inside my own head and see what they had to say about life through my eyes. If you've seen the original film by Spike Jonze, we stick close to the lo fi way he filmed the inside of John Malcovich's head scenes. replaced the Cameron Diaz and John Cusack characters with local skateboarders Gary Rogers and Mikey Matamoros as the two leads and Metro editor Jesse Gale, later did the voice of Mikey. If you're interested in learning more about our channel, heres some background info. Metro started making videos in 2006 to help all our local skaters get their skills seen. still doing the same thing only the friends i've made through Youtube have helped to expand that original circle to points beyond northern ca.
