Adaptive recuperation – in the BMW iX. Automatic adjustment of the recuperation level by the car.
The BMW adjusts the recuperation intensity so smoothly and intuitively that it's barely noticeable in traffic. It uses a variety of sensors to detect the current traffic situation. Based on this data, the system decides the optimal recuperation level. This makes the electric car feel like a regular car while still recovering a significant amount of energy.
