🧰 Understand that a function is where each 'x' value can have only one 'y' value.
🎯It may help to draw a line between the points in order to see the function better but it is not necessary and may not be considered part of the function. Just use it as a tool.
✏️The vertical pencil test is a nice visual way to tell if something is a function or not. If two 'y' values show up with only one 'x' value, then you know this graph is not a function.
