NEW 2026 Custom Sight Download And Installation Instructions
WHAT TO DO IF THIS DOESN'T WORK: Currently, there's a bug which is causing this to not work for some people. If you're experiencing this, create a UserSights folder in the old file location (whatever file location you see your UserSkins and UserMissions folders in) and then launch the game. When you do this, you should get a pop up about the new location of the UserSights folder (which will be automatically moved to said new location), and from their everything should work as described in the video.
In the Update Line of Contact, Gaijin has once again changed the way Custom Sights work in War Thunder. This video contains the most up to date instructions for downloading and installing custom sights, and well as my personal preferences and settings.
