Recording of Talk at Rust Rostock meetup.

Everyone knows that Rust is good with WebAssembly. If you follow the usual tutorials on the Internet, you quickly have a package written in Rust running in the browser or a web server with Spin or wasmtime. But what is actually happening in the background? What can Wasm do natively and how much additional work does Rust have to do? Is Wasm something like the intermediate language of Java or .NET or are there fundamental differences? Why do you actually need wasm_bindgen? Rainer addresses such questions in his presentation.
