Transfer files from old computer to new computer
So you bought a new computer and you need to copy your pictures and documents over from your old computer.
One way to accomplish a file transfer is to remove the hard drive from the old computer and connect it to the new one, then just drag-n-drop at will. In this video, I copy over 30Gigs of files using a USB/SATA docking station. And it's USB 3 so it didn't take very long.

You can purchase similar docking stations or drive caddies like mine on Amazon for around $25. Be sure to look for USB 3 - it will be much faster than USB 2 devices.
