Teaching Math from a Distance
This video is directed at teachers, parents or grandparents etc. for the purpose of engaging students in math from afar using a smart phone or tablet or computer. I use a graphing app on my i-phone. It allows me to type in function such as y =5x-2 and turnes it into a graph. I then send it to my granddaughter and ask her to send me back the slope, y-intercept and function. I started with simple linear functions and progress to quadratics and even cubic equations. It has worked out quite nicely.
