there're only a lucky few among us who can’t relate to the intense pain of being rejected by someone. it can hurt with such intensity that you can’t breathe, as if you’ve been punched in the gut.
we are grieved by a deep sense of bitterness and spite, both against the other person and against ourselves.
who doesn't feel a part of their heart break at rejection. you ask yourself every question you can think of, what, why, how come, and then your sadness turns to anger.
it's like your heart is being shattered. it's like something is wrong with me that I'm not good enough. then I wonder, well if I'm not good enough for this guy, will the next guy that comes along reject me too?
it makes you feel kind of embarassed, and sad at the same time.
