How to Set Up Projects in Adobe Premiere Pro.

In this Sixty Second Tutorial we cover a method for setting up a new Premiere Project including:-

1. Ensuring all your assets are organised within one master folder to ensure they are quick and easy to access and all in one place in case you need to transfer the project to a different drive.

2. Setting up a folder for your Premiere Pro project, including an additional folder for the 'Scratch' media assets.

3. Launching Premiere Pro and creating a new project, making sure that you have selected the project to be saved in the Premiere Pro folder you have set up and then making sure to also set the Scratch disks to the designated folder you have created.

(Note: This video quickly fast forwards through this part, but once you have set the first scratch disk option to be saved in the designated folder, the remaining scratch disks options will default to the folder you have chosen for the first option. All you need to do is click 'browse' and then 'ok' for each and all scratch disks will be saved to the correct place).

4. Keeping your project organised within Premiere Pro using folders for your assets.
