Rock Island Kato - Kobo Custom Painted E-8-A and Decoder Installation
In this video I will give a little review of the KATO - KOBO Custom painted Rock Island E-8-A locomotive that was announced for pre-order in October of 2021. I received my KATO-KOBO locomotive in May 2022 and just got around to putting in a TCS Decoder.
I will give my personal opinion on the engine and walk you step by step on the drop-in decoder installation. Then move to the quick programming of the decoder followed up with some run-by shots of the engine on the layout.
