Rachmaninoff Prelude in D major Op 23 no.4, Steinway D
An imperfect take of this prelude, but one of the few times I've recorded it on this piano. The sound comes across bigger than expected on recording, while the touch is also lighter than usual, so it takes some time to adjust and learn to control the instrument. Clearly no lack of Steinway growl here!
