We’ll walk through multiple real-world scenarios where manual registration is required, the benefits of creating the Azure “SQL virtual machine” resource, and a hands-on demo installing SQL Server Express 2022 on Windows Server Datacenter 2022. I’ll also show the prerequisites you must have in place before running the PowerShell script.
