Canon R6 V: Open Gate Video Test – Why Recording with the Full Sensor Matters
Today we’re going to explore a feature called Open Gate. It allows the Canon R6 V to record video in a 3:2 aspect ratio, using the full sensor to capture footage in an impressive 7K resolution. That’s incredibly useful in post-production, whether you want to fine-tune your final crop or transform a widescreen shot into a vertical video.
