First steps in ARIS Cloud Basic | Software AG
ARIS Cloud Basic contains predefined demo content such as a group structure, a start model, process models, etc. Learn in this video how to navigate to the available “Applicant search” process using the different apps of ARIS Cloud Basic and activate the create model app. See how you can easily use the search functionality and set the “Applicant search” process as favourite to your personal homepage.
Steps
1. Home app: Open the apps overview.
2. Published content app
Open the published content app.
Navigate to the “Applicant search” process using the group navigation tree (path: Business processes / Supporting processes / Human resources).
Select the “Applicant search” process and check the content in the diagram, summary and RACI tab.
Switch back to the homepage.
3. Home app
Select the “Business processes” element of the start model in order to begin with the model-based drill-down navigation.
Select the “Human resources” object in the “Business process map” to navigate to the next level.
Select the “Applicant search” object in the “Human resources” landscape to navigate to the next level.
Switch back to the homepage.
4. Create model app
Open the create model app.
Enter “Demo model” as model name, leave “Content” as group and select the BPMN process for the model type.
The “Demo model” opens in design mode (new browser tab).
Close the browser tab of the “Demo model” (design mode).
5. Edit models app
Open the edit models app.
Navigate to the “Applicant search” process using the group navigation tree (path: Business processes / Supporting processes / Human resources).
Select the “Applicant search” process to open the diagram in design mode (new browser tab).
Close the browser tab of the “Applicant search” (design mode).
Switch back to the homepage.
6. Home app
Enter “Applicant” in the search filed of the homepage.
Check the filter options (left side of the search) for the shown results.
Select the “Applicant search” result for the published content.
The published content app opens automatically:
i. Check the content of the “Applicant search” process.
ii. Add the “Applicant search” process to your personal list of favourites by activating the available star-icon close to the model name.
Switch back to the homepage and verify that the “Applicant search” process was added to your personal list of favourites.
