Shopify announced late last year that they have decided to deprecate SASS from Shopify Themes. This means that theme developers are now forced to move their SASS compilation locally. This holds a few benefits such as the ability to split and organise CSS code into separate files and folders and to use the latest version of SASS.
In this tutorial we'll learn how to create a create a Javascript build environment in order to continue using SCSS in Shopify theme development.
