Questions and Answers
Q. What exactly is the "DogPrincess Unity" version?
A. As presented in this post, it's a reworked and improved version in Unity, containing the "Main Quest" and "AfterStory" stories.
Main Quest: The familiar story from the Flash version, ported to Unity and moderately improved.
AfterStory:
A story that takes place after MainQuest.
The story will be more than three times the length of MainQuest.
Note: Although we're creating AfterStory with the idea of it being a "sequel," the crucial basic positions (Missionary, Doggy Style) are reused from the previous work. Since not all the positions are completely new, I think it would be a bit presumptuous (and embarrassing) to call it a "full sequel to Dog Princess"...
Q. Can I get the "DogPrincess Unity" version as an update?
Q: "Dog Princess"?
A: No. The "DogPrincess Unity" version will be sold separately on DLsite.
Since this title is a complete remake using Unity, there is absolutely no system compatibility with the existing Flash version.
Q: What will happen to the old "Dog Princess Flash" version?
A: We are still considering this.
We might stop sales or make it free when the Unity version is released.
(Perhaps as a reward for your support?)
Q: Is there a trial or demo version that can be played with this release?
A: We won't be releasing one.
Because it contains too many "completely new story developments"
and "unresolved elements,"
Also, the translation is currently just a temporary AI placeholder.
We decided not to release anything to the media, but rather to thoroughly polish it until it's ready for official release. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
Q: When Q: Will the DogPrincess Unity version be finished?
A: Undecided.
At the very least, I can say that the core development is 60% complete.
However, balance adjustments, testing, and polishing haven't officially started yet...
Also, the final version will need to be translated by professional translators, so it looks like it will take a bit longer.
Q: Are there any plans for Android or other versions of the app in the future?
A: We're working flat out just developing the Unity version, so there are absolutely no plans for that at the moment.
I apologize for the late progress update.
This is a progress report after a long time.
After reading this, some of you might be happy, and others might be disappointed.
But I sincerely thank you for waiting so patiently and patiently.
This long period of a year...
Believe it or not, I really wasn't slacking off! XD
Between intense development work and conversations with new partners, I've been quite busy these days.
While the process has been long and arduous, I've honestly had a great time and found it very rewarding at the same time.
Actually... there's "another reason why development has taken so long."
"The coo version"
Sorry, I really can't say more than this at the moment...
Thank you for joining us until the end! We hope you'll continue to support us next year.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
