following steps
Most users should find the Windows.old folder in the standard C drive. If your Windows installation uses another drive letter, make sure to check there instead.
1. Then right-click on the your c drive or () and select Properties from the context menu. // Disk Cleanup tool to remove the Windows.old folder. To use this, open the Start menu and type disk cleanup. then click on disk cleanup.
2. When the Disk Cleanup window opens, press the Clean up System Files button at the bottom.
