Learning SQL Queries -- Window Functions and CASE Expressions
SQL is a useful skill for data scientists which often appears in job descriptions and interviews. The SDML book club will be meeting Tuesdays for an introduction to writing SQL queries. This series will focus on the practical side of writing SQL to pull data out of a database. We will be using the book Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 10 Minutes by Ben Forta (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/013...) as our primary source. This series is open to beginners and has no prerequisites.
In our final session, we will cover supplemental material about window functions and CASE expressions. A good overview for window functions can be found here:
