Broth Microdilution assay - How to determine the MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration)

Hey Scientists,

when working with antibiotics one needs to determine the MIC (=minimum inhibitory concentration) which is the lowest concentration that is sufficient to inhibit bacterial growth. The Broth Microdilution assay is the most commonly used assay to determine the compound concentration.
