Can Vtubers Use The Elgato Prompter?
I've always wondered if my vtuber tracking would even work with an Elgato Prompter, and I finally got one to test it out. Long story short: yes, you can use a prompter. Tracking with webcam or ios inside the prompter may affect tracking quality a bit, but you can also opt to calibrate yourself offset so that you can look at prompter without your tracking tool needing to be behind the mirror.
If you want to keep your tracker inside, I'll go over some mounting methods for mobile & show how to set up webcam tracking, as well as how to add your vtuber model as an overlay to monitor your tracking in prompter.
I have been LOVING this product and was sad that there was never information about it from a vtuber's perspective, so I'm hoping I can provide that info to you!
(also sorry for my camera autofocusing constantly, i filmed this through an injury and just did not have a lot of spoons to care about the fine details)
