Taranaki Windsurf Wave Classic 2018
Got my first semi-sponsored trip over to the wave mecca in the Taranaki area of New Zealand. George, Forrest & myself went across the ditch to join in the fun of the 2018 Taranaki Wave Classic.
We didn't get epic conditions, the wind was mostly 5-15 knots but we did get some waves so if we couldn't sail there was still surfing to be had.
In case you didn't get the joke, a few months ago there was a news story of some surfers getting shot at by some angry locals up the north end of New Zealand. Kiwi's are really friendly people, just don't surf their waves and you'll be fine ha ha!
