Friends, we live in a world where people are quite sincerely rude to each other, call each other names, and say nasty things, but saying something nice, giving a compliment, is unusual and quite difficult for many people.
There's a phrase I repeat at every training session that goes something like this:
"A person who compliments you automatically becomes smarter."
How can this be? It's very simple. In your eyes, they become smarter; in your eyes, they become a professional. Because at that moment, your ego is satisfied, your ego receives a dose of positive emotions, and you begin to treat that person differently.
