"Red Rain" cover (Peter Gabriel)
I love this Peter Gabriel song, from his 1986 album "So," with the great Tony Levin on bass. From the keyboard- and rhythm-heavy original, it took me a while to come up with a straightahead rock guitar arrangement that I liked, and the groove (on all of the instruments) was surprisingly elusive. I had to record several cycles of scratch tracks before it started sounding half decent. I didn't even attempt the Stewart Copeland hi-hat part.
