Scrap Mechanic is a sandbox multiplayer game about building complex machines, featuring both creative and survival modes. Available for PC and Windows, the game is the first work from Axolot Games. Scrap Mechanic debuted on Steam Early Access and was developed by the developers in subsequent updates. Plot: In Scrap Mechanic, players take on the role of a robot mechanic sent to a fully automated agricultural planet to repair and maintain robots. Unfortunately, the hero loses control of the machine and crashes, only to discover that the machines cultivating and sending food to the human worlds have gone completely mad. Left to their own devices, the hero must utilize his skills and knowledge of machines to survive attacks by crazed mechanical opponents. Gameplay: Scrap Mechanic combines features of sandbox games like Rust and Hurtworld with the theme of building your own machines from Besiege and other similar titles. The game revolves around collecting resources and crafting various machines – offering considerable freedom in this regard. To achieve these goals, the player is equipped with a range of tools, such as a hammer and a device for joining components. The game's creators have prepared over a hundred parts, so every mechanic can fully realize their engineering ambitions – from cars and walking machines to even absurd ideas like houses on wheels. In addition to basic parts like wheels and bodywork, you'll find more complex components like engines, suspension, switches, and sensors. A portable lift is essential for launching a career as both a mechanic and inventor, as well as a handy guide and manual – in which the authors explain all the aspects of bringing new ideas to life. The game is also focused on cooperative play.
