Activision BANNING Players for THIS!? | Vanguard Camo Ban
Could you get BANNED for this? There is a small chance that a TON of players are going to get banned by the Call of Duty Anticheat that has been added into the game. Ricochet, the new Anticheat software developed by Call of Duty, has a way to detect players that have been using glitches and other methods of altering the game to ban them from the game.
Ricochet COULD ban you for using the glitch that would unlock every camo in the game at the click of a button. The Vanguard Camo Glitch was well documented over the past week or so and many prominent players in the Call of Duty scene used this glitch to check out the newest mastery camos inside of the game.
If Ricochet bans people for this, it would be because the AI has flagged this glitch as a bannable offense, even though technically, it doesn't affect the game as a whole.
What is more worrisome is the lingering effects of the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug that plagued Cold War Zombies in the middle of the Cold War Life Cycle. The Sail 630 Nuclear Bug was banning players from Cold War for no reason and the ban usually lasted from weeks to months before Activision went in and manually unbanned the safe accounts. Some accounts are still unjustly banned to this day.
