Scheme Macros for Non-linear Pattern Matching with Backtracking for Non-free Data Types
The Egison language implements powerful non-linear pattern matching, but traditionally took a performance trade-off for doing so. In this talk, Satoshi Egi describes how he efficiently implemented pattern matching for Egison on top of Scheme's macro system, enabling expressive and yet efficient matching.
