Liver Cake
This liver cake will be the perfect addition to any celebration. Any liver will do, but I prefer beef.
Ingredients:
▫️Liver - 600 g
▫️Eggs - 3
▫️Milk - 220 ml
▫️Flour - 130 g
▫️Spices (coriander, black pepper) - to taste
▫️Garlic - 1.2 cloves
▫️Salt - to taste
▫️Onions - 2
▫️Carrots - 3
▫️Vegetable oil for frying
For the liver pancakes:
1. Thoroughly rinse the liver, remove the membranes and any unnecessary parts. Cut into small pieces and blend.
2. Add eggs, salt, spices, milk, and flour to the liver and mix. Blend again until smooth.
3. Fry the liver pancakes in a preheated frying pan greased with vegetable oil. Fry the pancakes for 1.5-2 minutes on each side.
Filling:
1. Coarsely grate the carrots and coarsely chop the onion.
2. Sauté the onion and carrot in a small amount of oil, add garlic (optional), lightly salt, and let cool.
Sauce:
1. Separately mix the mayonnaise with sour cream (you can add herbs and garlic).
Assembly:
Spread the sauce on a pancake and place one portion of the filling on top. Assemble the entire liver cake in this manner.
I spread the sauce on top of the cake and sprinkled it with dill. Refrigerate the liver cake for at least 2-3 hours to soak.
Your delicious liver cake is ready.
Enjoy! 😘
