Star Camp at South Weber Elementary!
Recently, students at South Weber Elementary spent an exciting two hours overseeing a NASA simulated mission where they had to get four astronauts back to earth. The simulation was sponsored by the Davis Education Foundation and was facilitated by the Douglas Space and Science Foundation, who provided real life scenarios. Students took on the roles of commander, systems engineer, mission director and monitored weather, air pressure, electrical and navigation systems. Let's just say, the mission was a success!
