Generator repair. Brush replacement and dirt cleaning. Honda CR-V RD1 B20B 1996.
The car is a Honda CR-V RD1 B20B 1996. I've been driving it since December 2009.
I've already driven 243 thousand kilometers!!! During this time I've never serviced the generator.
I removed the generator to replace the brushes and clean it from dirt.
In theory, I should have replaced the slip rings, but until I disassembled it I didn't know what was inside. Here I found the number of the rings, it seems to be from this generator - "slip rings 135173"
