Ancient Sumer’s Warka Vase
The Warka Vase, found in Uruk (modern-day Warka, Iraq), is a Sumerian artefact from around 3200 BCE. Made of alabaster, it depicts a procession offering gifts to the goddess Inanna. This masterpiece offers insights into Sumerian culture and beliefs, housed now in the National Museum of Iraq.
