Create your First Git Repository on GitHub | Push code from eclipse to new Repository
In this tutorial we will walkthrough on how to create a new repository on Github and how to perform Git Push using a project created in eclipse and egit plugin.
We will go through the following steps
1) Sign up to Github
2) Create a project / repository
3) In eclipse download and install egit plugin
4) Add Views from Windows menu option for Git
5) Create a local repository
6) Create a project
7) Add the project to local repository i.e Commit
8) Push the changes to newly created repository on Github.com
9) Verify that the source code has moved to remote repository.
