CAM Editor Open-XDX demonstration: SQL to XML file
This video is a quick technology demonstration of creating a working Open Data API using the CAM Editor and Open XDX software tools along with Oracle WebLogic web services. Illustrates creating XML file output from SQL tables and then sharing that via web services API. Also shows creating Query/Response mechanism using Java.
It is the "Part 2" of the full Introduction video - just jumps straight to the technology demonstration - as we know the technically inclined are impatient and want to see code.
We take a sample MySQL database and mock patient prescriptions data and quickly build a working NIEM XML query/response web service. We show how this is done using code-free methods and XML templates to configure the information exchange components.
