Using ICONV api in RPG

ICONV - Convert characters from one CCSID to another in different codepage character set in RPG explains about converting the data between the different character sets i.e codepage. Basically using the ICONV system API for code conversion. This will explain the conversion from EBCDIC encoding to ASCII encoding.This also explains the Unicode encoding and how to implement unicode in IBM i systems.
Source code for calling ICONV API is shown in the video which can be referred for to practice ICONV api. This video explains about codpage, different character sets, EBCDIC,ASCCI and Unicode encoding as well.
Demo for API ICONV shown in debug mode as well.

The iconv utility converts the encoding of characters from one CCSID to another CCSID
