Video 1 - 4 mins. Introduction and background to prepare for this “Maschine Sampling Master Course”.
Video 2 - 9 Mins. Basic Refresher course. Covers the Maschine 2.4 interface and help locate the most used areas of the program.
Video 3 - 15 Mins. This video is all about chopping up drum breaks and the different modes available to you. We weigh out the pros and cons of each mode and cover the different best practices.
Video 4 - 18 Mins. In the video we cover the various modes you can use to chop up sample phrases. Covers how to tap tempo, zone zero crossings, and how to create implied groove via tempo adjustments.
Video 5 - 14 Mins. Taking everything we have learned so far and putting it to practical use. Apply grid slicing to percussive loops to help build a foundation. Re-Arrange a drum break, one of the rarest, into your own custom drum pattern. And manipulate composed parts via Time stretch and Reverse sample techniques.
Video 6 - 27 Mins. Creating a sample based track from scratch. Building drums using the Bonus Kit, MG Super South Kit. Discuss chopping up the sample, filtering out the bass layer, and preparing for export via Track-outs. Observe the track creation process from a birds eye view.
