Why PoE is Needed to Extend Ethernet for Non-PoE Device with PoE Extender?
The network is limited to 100 meters. The PoE extender is a handy device to extend the network beyond 100 meters. However, we can’t just add the PoE extender to repeat the non-POE network. The PoE injector and the PoE splitter are needed to work with the PoE extender even if you have a power source at the edge. The POE extender will take the power from the POE injector. The POE splitter can separate the data from the POE.
