Taiwan rocked by 7.4-magnitude earthquake
A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Taiwan near the city of Hualien on the morning of April 3. The tremors were also felt in Okinawa in southern Japan, as well as the Philippines. The death toll in the Taiwan earthquake has risen to 7, and more than 700 people are injured. The quake was the strongest to hit the island in 25 years.
