9. How to do DATA CONECTIONS and Merge | Make a data merge between MULTIPLE workbooks | Power Query
In Microsoft Excel, you can connect to data stored in multiple Excel workbooks and merge the data into a single workbook using the Power Query feature.
Here's how to use Power Query to merge data from multiple Excel workbooks:
Go to the "Data" tab in the Excel ribbon, and click the "New Source" button in the "Get & Transform Data" group.
In the "Get Data" dialog box, select the "File" option, and then select the "Folder" option.
In the "Folder" dialog box, navigate to the folder that contains the Excel workbooks you want to merge, and select the folder.
Make sure the "Combine Excel Files" option is selected, and click the "Load" button.
In the Power Query Editor, select the columns you want to include in the merged data, and click the "Load" button.
In the Power Query Editor, go to the "Home" tab, and click the "Close & Load" button to load the merged data into a new worksheet.
Go to the "Data" tab in the Excel ribbon, and click the "From Table/Range" button in the "Get & Transform Data" group.
In the "Create Table" dialog box, make sure the merged data is selected, and click the "OK" button.
In the Power Query Editor, go to the "Home" tab, and click the "Close & Load" button to load the merged data into a new worksheet.
Your data from multiple Excel workbooks will now be merged into a single Excel workbook, with each workbook represented as a separate table in the workbook. You can use the Power Query Editor to perform additional transformations on the merged data, such as filtering, sorting, and merging columns.
