Hi, I'm James. In this video, we will look at how you can modernise a simple Web API built with .NET Framework to run on AWS Lambda.

In the last video we looked at how to take a simple ASP.NET Web API and run that on AWS Lambda. In this video, we take that a step further and look at a more 'real world' ASP.NET API that connects to a SQL Server database running on Amazon RDS.

The API uses entity framework to connect to the SQL Server, and pulls connection details from AWS Secrets Manager.
