Cast of 'Oblivion' - Red Carpet Premiere
Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Kosinski & More Celebrate Slick, Smart Sci-Fi Thriller. After Tron: Legacy, the massive Disney digital 3D remake spectacle from architect-turned-director Joseph Kosinski, Kosinski chose to delve into his own sci-fi universe with Oblivion. Teaming up with Tron collaborator and Academy Award-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda (who just snapped up a golden statue for his work on Life of Pi), Kosinski first wrote a graphic novelexploring a future where our moon is destroyed, humanity has fled Earth, and a two-man team finish up their last two weeks overseeing a collection of drones before they rejoin their species on Titan.
