Weeknight newscast from the then-UPN (now CBS) affiliate in Jacksonville, FL. Unfortunately the 'cold' open to the newscast was clipped at the start. Some commercials were also edited. Video quality varies due to original tape conditions.
The newscast was produced by local Fox affiliate WAWS-TV (now WFOX-TV).
In 2002, the 6:30pm broadcast ceased production a couple of weeks before WTEV became the CBS affiliate , with a full slate of morning, midday, evening, and late newscasts that were produced with WAWS's expanded news department.
WTEV became WJAX-TV in 2014.
