This game was all about how to properly play Yorick into Renekton and turn one winning lane into complete map control.
The early lane matchup was the most important part.
Instead of giving Renekton free trades and short fights, I focused on:
wave control
smart trading
using ghouls correctly
forcing pressure when his cooldowns were down
Once the lane advantage started growing, the game completely changed.
After getting ahead, I stopped playing only for lane and started impacting the entire map:
aggressive rotations
tower pressure
forcing enemy responses
creating pressure in multiple lanes
Every time the enemy team reacted late, another tower disappeared.
The best part about fed Yorick is how difficult it becomes for enemies to answer side lane pressure while objectives are spawning.
If they ignored me:
tower gone.
If they sent multiple players:
my team gained control elsewhere.
This wasn’t just a top lane win.
It became a macro game built around pressure, split push timing, and forcing impossible decisions for the enemy team.
