Learn how the camera intelligently knows when to record a video. It detects forces and movement, so you can rest assured that it will automatically record every shot. See user steps below:
Step 1 – Power On
When you are ready to shoot, turn the ShotKam ON with a quick click of the Control Button.
Momentary yellow light = warming up
Solid green light = ready & recording
The solid green light means that it is recording video through a memory buffer, but it will only save your video if there is a recoil. The blue light will come on AFTER the recoil to indicate that a shot has been saved to the internal memory card.
Step 2 – Shoot Within 20 Seconds
Shoot within 20 seconds of closing the gun’s action (blue LED will come on after the recoil).
Step 3 – Sleep Mode
If there is no recoil for 20 seconds, then the camera will go into Sleep Mode to conserve battery.
Flashing green light = Sleep Mode
Either press the Control Button or bump the gun to waken the ShotKam.
Step 4 – Watch in Wi-Fi Mode
We recommend always shooting in Normal Shooting Mode (not in Wi-Fi Mode) for best video quality and optimal battery life, and then reviewing your videos through Wi-Fi after your round. Live streaming video (shooting in Wi-Fi Mode) will appear fast and choppy. Your ShotKam will automatically slow down each video to 1/3 speed for optimal viewing on mobile devices and computers. To enter Wi-Fi Mode: Start with your ShotKam OFF, hold down the Control Button for 3-7 seconds, and then release.
