RenPy Tutorial using Side Image | Adding portraits in your Ren'Py Game
If you want to show the character's portrait above your UI, this tutorial is for you. In RenPy, those are called side images. Side images are usually used for the main character when he/she speaks. It gives the players a deeper connection with their character. Older RPGs use side images to show their dialogue.
Note:
I'm using 1920 x 1080 resolution in the Ren'Py project.
You must know the Ren'Py basics to understand this video.
