НэгъышъхьэтыхьымкIэ тышъуфэгушIо!
We are proud to announce that we may have been probably the first to celebrate the holiday of Khateguash (Хатэгуащ, goddess of Spring, youth, renewal and love) within the century.
Celebrated non the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after the Vernal Equinox, Neghyshkhatyh is a holiday in which young men and girls ritually pluck flowers from the field and exchange bouquets early in the morning. The rest of the day is spent with all sorts of fun and games.
